We built a school for the orphaned and needy children in Ghana/Have. Now all we need is to bring them there.
We are in urgent need of a school bus to transport our kids to and from the SUSAN GRIESBACH EDUCATION CENTRE "the name of our charity school in Have" to their homes. At this time, those young kids must walk long distances from their homes to attend classes and events at the center, without proper shoes and paved and dirty roads to walk on. When it rains, the roads can sometimes fill with water, and youth persevere through the puddles, barefoot at times, in order to reach the center.
The school has been established to help needy children gain standard education even if their parents or guardians don’t have money to send them to school. The school started on the 17th of January 2010 with three children, under a shade made of palm leaves.
With the help some volunteers from Germany we have five classrooms at the moment.
Currently the total number of children is 140 in Crèche, Kindergarten and primary with seven (7) teachers. The school starts at 8:30 am and at this time all children arrive at school. In the afternoon by 12:00 pm, all pupils have a lunch at school, rested for 30 minutes and go back to classroom. Normal school close at 3:30 pm and all children depart.
We have managed to assist more and more of these precious kids. As a result of our good work we need new resources. Our current need is for a new bus.
Will you consider donating to our campaign? Will you help us buy a bus?
Every cent you donate will surely make a difference to the lives of our school kids!
We assure you that 100% of all your donations will be used to purchase our new bus.
The Sustainable Development Community e.V. could not provide the important and much needed services we do without the generosity of our donors. Thank you for your generous support!
